Descrizione

The Transfer Data Blocker Pro 3.0 USB-C not only protects against unknown USB connections that may be hacked, but can also be inserted between a charging cable and your device. This allows for use in public chargers where the cable is permanently connected to the charger. It also guards against the risk of the charging cable itself being hacked.

  • The blocker has a male USB-C connector on one end and a female USB-C connector on the other end, as well as 2-way power, allowing it to be connected to your charger or the device you want to charge.

Limitations

  • Make sure that your device or charger has a USB-C port.
  • Most Apple devices use a lightning connector, requiring an adapter.
  • The blocker is not compatible with additional fast charging technologies such as ‘Qualcomm Quick Charge’ and ‘Samsung adaptive fast charge’, as data transfer is required for these. Public USB chargers also do not support these standards, but your device will still charge at a normal speed.
  • Laptops and other large devices require data transfer to enable the higher charging speeds they need, so they cannot be charged through the blocker.
