Important information regarding your legal rights and remedies
Effective April 23, 2024
We want to make sure you have all the information you need. While we provide translations of our legal agreements and policies for your ease, please keep in mind that the English version is the official and most accurate one. Translations are just here to help you read and understand better, but they don’t have any legal weight. If there’s ever a misunderstanding, the English version will be the one that counts.
If you bought something from Pladinum, you can get a refund, but only if you cancel within 30 days of your purchase.
Just a heads up: cryptocurrencies, tokens, and digital assets are pretty tricky. They’re usually irreversible, and their exchange rates can change super fast. So, we can’t take any responsibility for risks, whether it’s exchange rate changes or market fluctuations.
Keep in mind, if you pay with cryptocurrencies, tokens, or digital assets, there are no refunds.
Also, if we find out that someone’s doing something illegal or breaking Pladinum’s Terms of Service, any payments made won’t be refunded.
“Date of the transaction” means the day you bought something or the day we process any renewals according to the product or service agreement (Terms of Use). You can cancel anytime, but remember, refunds will only be handed out if you ask to cancel within the specified timeframe for that product.
By the way, some products have different rules when it comes to refunds, and a few aren’t eligible for refunds at all. Check out the details below for the refund policies on those products:
- Hosting (all plans, except first payment after Free Trial)
- SSL-Zertifikate
- Daily Backups
- CloudFlare
- Pladinum Email
- Mullvad VPN 6 and 12 months
- VPS (except upgrades)
Unfortunately, if any products or services were suspended, canceled, or terminated because of misuse or breaking our Terms and Conditions, they’re not getting a refund.
The whole idea behind the refund is to help you figure out if Pladinum’s services work for you. But, we can’t allow people to take advantage of refunds (like asking for a refund on the same stuff over and over or buying in bulk just to get your money back). Pladinum totally reserves the right to say no to refund requests if we see any signs of refund abuse happening.
